My favorite place in the entire world is my summer house in New Hampshire.  There, I can escape technology, the media, etc. and just spend my time relaxing with my friends at the river, or climbing a mountain. My family owns acres upon acres of land up there and I hope to one day build my own house on some of that land.  This place is a big part of my life, and the memories that I have had there will never leave me.

This is the view from my dorm room at night.  The thing that really makes it stand out for me is that it is such a city photo.  Never in my life have I lived in a city.  Never have I looked out of my window at night and seen the lights of buildings and streetlights.  It is such a weird experience for me, but I still think it’s beautiful.

Today is a sad day.

I’d just like to share my condolences for the death of Senator Ted Kennedy.  He sadly passed away yesterday in Hyannisport from complications of his brain tumor.  I can genuinely say that everyone from Cape Cod (including myself) shared a special appreciation for the Kennedy family and are extremely saddened by this event.  Here is the article from the Cape Cod Times.
